01 / About Planypals
We turn ambitious ideas into fundable plans.
Planypals exists for one reason: too many good businesses fail to raise money because their plan, deck, or model did not make the case. We fix that. Our team of writers, pitch strategists, and financial modelers builds the documents that move capital toward founders.

Our story
We started Planypals after watching founders with real businesses get turned down, not because the idea was weak, but because the plan did not speak the language lenders and investors expect.
Since then we have focused on a simple promise: build documents that are clear, credible, and complete. A business plan should answer the questions before they are asked. A pitch deck should tell a story that earns the next meeting. A financial model should survive due diligence.
That discipline is why our clients come back for their next round, their next location, and their next venture.
What we believe
A plan is not paperwork. It is the argument for why your business deserves capital, backed by numbers a banker can trust and a story an investor remembers.
How we work
Substance over templates
We research your market and build your numbers from the ground up. No fill-in-the-blank documents.
Defensible by design
Every projection traces back to a documented assumption, so your plan holds up under scrutiny.
You own everything
We hand over editable files, not locked PDFs. The work is yours to update and reuse.
Founder-first
Clear communication, honest timelines, and a process that respects your deadlines.
The specialists behind your documents
Planypals is led by people who do this every day, each owning the area they know best, so your plan, deck, or model is written by a specialist rather than a generalist.

Priya Raman
Lead Business Plan Strategist
Priya spent more than a decade in small-business commercial lending and credit analysis, structuring and reviewing hundreds of loan files before she moved into advisory work. She writes Planypals' business plan and SBA guides from the lender's side of the desk, because she has sat there. A credit committee wants a clean use of funds, cash flow that comfortably covers the debt, and projections it can actually believe. Those are the things she helps founders get right.

Eli Brandt
Pitch & Fundraising Lead
What wins an investor meeting, Eli will tell you, is a clear story told in the order investors expect — rarely a prettier template. He has seen it from both vantage points: first as an early-stage investor screening pitches, then as an operator coaching founders from pre-seed through Series A. He now leads Planypals' pitch deck and investor content.

Sofia Marchetti
Head of Financial Modeling
Sofia came up through corporate FP&A and startup finance, building the driver-based models founders live or die by. At Planypals she leads the financial modeling and writes the guides on projections, unit economics, and cap tables. She is unmovable on one point — a number you can't trace back to a defensible assumption has no business being in the model.

Hassan Darwish
Immigration Business Plan Lead
Hassan specializes in USCIS- and consulate-ready business plans, working alongside immigration attorneys on E-2, EB-5, L-1, and EB-2 NIW cases. He leads Planypals' immigration content and is deeply familiar with the standards adjudicators apply, from the Matter of Ho job-creation bar to E-2 marginality. His plans support the petition; they never replace legal counsel.

Claire Whitfield
Managing Editor
Claire is Planypals' managing editor. She reviews the guides for accuracy and clarity, checks that every figure, fee, and requirement is current and sourced, and keeps the writing useful rather than promotional. She reviews the immigration and finance guides most closely, where a wrong number has real consequences.
